Hon. Nick Ochola is a seasoned Administrator, Governance practitioner, and Development professional with over thirty-three years (33) of distinguished experience in both the public and private sectors. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in strategic management, organizational development, public administration, project management, stakeholder engagement, and institutional governance.
Nick previously served as the Business and Operations Manager for Eastern Africa at City & Guilds International, a globally renowned skills development and vocational education organization headquartered in the United Kingdom. In this role, he provided leadership for business development and project planning across eight countries in Eastern Africa.
During his tenure with City & Guilds International and while based at the organization's international headquarters in London, Nick was appointed as the Employee Forum Representative for International Operations. In this capacity, he served as a critical link between global staff and senior management, where he was involved in facilitating and planning for Senior management to engage and share strategic changes with the teams in the international, covering the regions of South East Asia Region (Pacific, Greater China), South Asia, Europe (outside UK), Middle East ＆ Caribbean and Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Botswana, Malawi, South Africa and Kenya)
Nick is the immediate former Member of County Assembly and represented North Gem Ward in the 2nd Assembly of the County Assembly of Siaya.
He currently serves as the Executive Chairman, Director, and Co-Founder of Neo Africa Consultants, a leading consultancy firm specializing in education, skills development, digital transformation, institutional capacity building, governance, and development advisory services across Africa. Under his leadership, the firm has successfully implemented numerous assignments for governments, development partners, educational institutions, and private sector organizations. He is also a Founder and Director at SPV Bridge Global Financing Limited
Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government and Public Administration from Moi University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management from Kenyatta University.
